Conclusion of livelihood training activities–quality Community care services project for children and those exposed to violence

AHATTMT Foundation for building and development, the livelihood training activities carried out within the project of quality community care services for children and child exposed to violence as a local partner of Intersos Global organization with the plight of UNICEF in the areas of (computer course-sewing art And detail-the art of perfumery and incense, the art of cook-sewing-maintenance of telephones).

Community care and livelihoods, two directions on which the project is based, reflecting the activities of the project on the most important groups in need of care and the promotion of their livelihoods, and here I stress that the community groups that need more attention and care are getting worse and widening the gap of need that makes all the international community The national has a greater responsibility to perform and play a major role in cooperation in seeking funding and mobilizing more accommodating resources for this problem. Many groups continue to suffer from violence, marginalization and drop-out from education due to poverty and the senseless effects of war on Yemen, which have exacerbated the humanitarian situation and affected women and children in particular.

Echo in its visions and mission through its areas of interest and aims to provide an important quality of projects that enhance the level of community care, and develop and build the capacity of Yemeni society, and to support it with development and economic programs and projects and to build the capacities of young people and rehabilitate them in the areas of livelihood, which Our projects translate into a range of what has been implemented and what this project has to do with one of the trends that comes within the areas we are committed to in our regulations and systems.

This project is concerned with community-based care, which focuses on children as the two most important groups in need of care in order to raise issues and discuss problems in a safe and secure environment during individual or group psychosocial support sessions (first psycho-social and/or group session) available Following the initial diagnostic assessment of cases, this is in addition to the area of livelihood, which is targeted at 45 as an activity summarized in occupations (handicrafts) such as sewing, fashion design, incense and perfume industry, on the one hand, and rehabilitation of the abilities of children/their families in dealing with modern-day methods in how The use of computers, software and various applications, to be qualified to supplement the labour market and thus help their families to earn a living, which gives change an opportunity for the positive transformation of the economic process.

The project was designed and based on a principle and basic rule that considers and treats this group as an essential and active partner in building and development, and that children and young people are the tool of change as they are at its core, and that talking about real development that does not constitute the focus, substance and purpose of young people and children is merely an activity not based on A national project to promote the development and stability of the local economy.

Over the past six months, we have been able to monitor and receive more than 110 cases of children, referrals of more than 13 psychiatric cases and 2 cases referred to intersos for cash assistance, 6 cases sent to the child care organization and 3 cases to the Yemeni women's Union and 22 cases were referred to the al-Eid clothing project, which was carried out by the foundation at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and as mentioned above, the foundation for capacity building has targeted the rehabilitation of more than 45 trainees and trainees in the areas of livelihood, as the foundation and its international partner grant the Intersos organization at the end Training as computer equipment, sewing machine and raw tools for the manufacture of incense and perfumes to ensure continuity in the measurement of the indicators of success of the project and confirmation of useful outputs for the beneficiaries.

The project adopts an integrated methodology during the project implementation process: we monitored the cases in the Community centre at Echo, and we received those who need care and referred some of them, and we have conducted training at the Arwa Institute for Technical Education and vocational training who have made great efforts both managing The institute or its cadres that have been absorbed and supported within the project's effectiveness, and with the addition and provision of grants of livelihood bags given to trainees.

The project has also been able to build a strong network that includes, together with our Organization, the echo of a similar local partner, an institution hosting an Intersos international partner, the Arwa Technical Institute, as well as some organizations and institutions, in an effort to promote cooperation and joint action, believing in the importance of the rehabilitation of volunteerism. As a high human value, it strengthens efforts, reinforces social cohesion and transforms it into programmatic contexts that meet the needs of the individual and society, and uphold the values of citizenship and membership by activating the energies of young people through the various activities carried out by the foundation through this project and in previous and subsequent projects.
